About the Anchor Team
PCC’s Anchor Team was officially named in 2024, but the PCC has been replacing old hardware around the Prescott climbing areas for nearly the last 10 years.
The mission of the PCC’s Anchor Team is to assess the current condition of established anchors, identify and monitor current and future maintenance needs, and replace antiquated and unreliable anchors as necessary. Doing so in partnership with land managers and agencies.
